Yes, right-hand drive cars are legal throughout most of Canada (Quebec may be the exception. Please check your local laws). They are eligable for import after 15 years. How do I insure it? In Ontario, you MUST have at least a second vehicle in order to be insure a RHD car. Please ask your insurance provider first before inquiring. Only other option would be Facility (high-risk rates). I'm only paying about ~$120 a month for FULL coverage on this car. I would be more than happy to assist you in getting the car insured. Why is it Automatic? It's how the original owner built it. If you prefer a 5-speed, Auto to Manual swaps are commonly done and guides are readily available online. It does have a tiptronic "Hold" button, which holds the car in selected gear (the blue illumated button on the center console). This feature is currently disabled due to the Power FC ECU. Regardless, it's not for racing and still very exhilarating to drive. I don't live in Canada. Are you willing to ship it? Disclosure: -Because the wheels are so large, the tires can rub the plastic inner fender liner if you turn your wheels all the way. A repair or replacement is ideal. -The automatic transmission has a minor leak.- It can stall sometimes when the engine is still cold and you put it into gear too quick. No problem when warmed up and running. An ECU tune or swap would resolve this. -The "Hold" light flashes because it's disabled by the Power FC. -The spark plug wires could use a replacement to create a better contact with the plugs. -There is some curb rash on the front passenger wheel. -Your neighbours will probably hate you.
