Real XX29 Charger 500 According to most sources there were 392 Charger 500 made in 1969. The goal was to sell 500 of them to qualify for NASCAR. There were 13 Charger 500 ordered with the SE package (a somewhat odd combination) and one 500 SE ordered for Canada –this one. It features the A47 option package (SE Trim) which adds leather interior, woodgrain dash, rocker mouldings and wheels well moulding. The 500 also has the light package which includes hood mounted turn signal indicators, dual rearview mirror, dress up pedal package power steering and power brakes. This Charger was completely and meticulously restored in the early 2000s and features in a MCG article in October 2002. The restoration has held up beautifully. The engine pulls strong and the transmission shifts crisply. The undercarriage is painted and is pristine absolutely solid and rust free. The chrome is in excellent condition. The interior is impeccable; seats, wood grain dash, door panels, wood grain console and carpet everything is in more than excellent condition.
